The idea behind this wall sculpture is a mythical seed pod morphing into birds. Using sculptural surrealism, I created what I consider hybrid forms that are a cross between a seed and a bird. The forms gradually evolve into flying blue birds that help to spread the plant’s genetic material across the soil as they travel over the landscape. This is a mutually beneficial relationship called Coevolution, initially discovered by Charles Darwin.
